Pairing Your NEXEO | HDX All-in-One Headset to the NEXEO Base Station
The NEXEO | HDX
Platform changes the way you interact with your crew, the headset, and your customers.
More than just a headset, the NEXEO | HDX
Base Station display, and delivers the latest generation of HDX audio. A new NEXEO headset must first be paired
with the NEXEO Base Station.
1.
Insert a new fully charged battery in your headset before starting the pairing process.
2.
Turn on your headset by pressing the blue button.
3.
Locate the Pairing Area on your All-in-One headset between the volume up and down buttons in the
center of the touch panel.
4.
The Pairing Ring on your Base Station is located in the bottom right corner.
Note: When idle, the sensor ring illuminates with a solid blue ring.

  • Page 2 Bring the headset Pairing Area to the Pairing Ring. The NEXEO Base Station uses near field technology to sense your headset’s presence. The NEXEO Base Station uses near field technology to sense your headset’s presence. The solid blue ring turns into a swirling green ring, indicating that pairing is in process.
  • Page 3 Once the headset is paired, ensure you hold the headset by the outer edge to avoid unintentionally tapping the interface. If pairing fails, the ring will flash red. Try again by holding the headset Pairing Area steadily, centered, and flush against the Pairing Ring. Note: Headset movement and distance may cause pairing errors.
  • Page 4 Tap the first letter of your name on the index or scroll until you find your name. Note: Tap the Privacy Policy link on the bottom to learn more about HME’s Privacy Policy. Tap your name from the list. Your name will be highlighted in blue.
  • Page 5 Once you select your name, a Pop-Up confirming your first and last name will display. Tap Yes, continue or No, go back. If no employees are enrolled, tap No, Skip to continue. To add a new user, tap Yes, Add New Crew Profile. A PIN is required to create a new profile.
  • Page 6 Selecting Your Position Once your headset is paired, the Select Your Position screen displays. Note: By default, Drive-Thru 1, and Crew positions display. If your store has two lanes, Drive-Thru 2 will also display. Select the position your manager has assigned to you. DRIVE-THRU 1 allows you to hear Drive-Thru communication for Lane 1.
  • Page 7 The following positions are available: Crew Curbside Dining Area Front Counter Kitchen Parking Lot Manager Mobile Order Outside Order Taker Patio Wait Area After selecting your position tap the Next button. The Success Pairing confirmation will display. Note: If you select the Crew positions, the Success confirmation will immediately display, and your headset will be ready to use.
  • Page 8: Telephone Interface

    Telephone Interface If a telephone interface is installed, tap Allow this headset to receive phone calls to answer calls using your NEXEO headset. Note: Only one crew member at a time can be assigned to receive phone calls. Tap the Next button.
