4 Using WV series network cameras and some
BL series network cameras

4.1 Specification Differences

When WV series network cameras and some BL series network cameras are registered to this software and
used, some of the procedures and specifications for using the WV series network cameras and some BL series
network cameras will differ to those listed in this manual.

When the image capture mode is set to a setting other than quad streams for network video encoders, 360°
network cameras, only images from stream 1 will be monitored and recorded.
For 360° network cameras, if the image capture mode type is 2 monitor, the following types of images will be
monitored and recorded.
When the camera's images are JPEG images, images configured on the Live page (Initial display) will be
monitored and recorded.
When the camera's images are H.264 images, panoramic images (stream 1 images) will be monitored and
recorded.

4.1.1 Multi-Monitoring screen

Presets
The camera's preset name may not be displayed in the preset list. In this case a preset number is displayed.
When network video encoders are used, preset numbers are displayed.
Pan Scan/Tilt Scan
The Pan Scan/Tilt Scan features cannot be used.

Listen button
When network video encoders, or 360° network cameras that have image capture mode set to quad streams
are used, audio can only be transmitted from cameras that have channel 1 set for the Video Channel.
Audio Transmission button
When the data format of camera images is set to MPEG-4 or H.264, audio cannot be transmitted from this
software to the camera.
