A. To make adjustment to thermostat set-point.
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE DISHWASHER AT THE MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER.
TAG CIRCUIT BREAKER TO INDICATE THE CIRCUIT IS BEING REPAIRED.
(1) The thermostat can be adjusted by turning the set-point adjusting screw on the thermostat. A counter
clockwise (CCW) rotation is used to obtain a lower temperature setting and a clockwise (CW) rotation is
used to obtain a higher temperature setting. A 1/8 turn of screw changes the temperature approximately 15
Deg. F. Check the rinse temperature before making any further adjustments. NOTE: If set-point screw is at
maximum adjustment in either CW or CCW position, adjust range setting. See "Thermostat Range
Adjustment".
B. To make adjustment to thermostat range.
(1) Turn set point screw to center position.
(2) Using a 1/4 inch open end wrench, place wrench on range adjusting nut and turn until thermostat
clicks.
(3) Check the rinse temperature before making any further adjustments. NOTE: Making large moves
in adjusting may cause misalignment, increasing chances that further adjustment cannot be
made and thermostat will need to be replaced.
C. To Replace Thermostat.
(1) Remove lower enclosure kick panel.
(2) Remove booster tank thermostat. Note: Do not allow booster tank to drain water when replacing
thermostat. Plug hole if needed to stop water from draining. If a large amount of water has
drained out (more than a pint) disconnect the booster heater contactor coil wire lead
(orange/white) from the coil until thermostat is replaced and dishwasher is filled with water
again, then reconnect ire lead.
(3) Untighten mounting nut and remove. Note: Thermostat must have a new compression ferrel
installed on stem.
(4) Unscrew thermostat fitting from booster tank. Use teflon tape on bulb fitting when installing
replacement.
(5) Reverse procedures to install replacement wash thermometer.

10. To replace booster tank - Model JP-24B/BF.

The booster tank is bolted to the wash sump area underneath the dishwasher at the left side. Dishwasher
must be completed disconnected from power and water to remove and replace booster tank. Remove all
ware from dishwasher and drain wash tank before starting.
CAUTION: Booster heater must be disabled at contactor (wire lead - orange/white) and dishwasher filled
with water in wash sump before power is reconnected to heater contactor or heater will be damaged. SEE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
