Settings for Overseas Use

Although by default, the mobile phone automatically
searches for and connects to an available operator's network
when you arrive overseas, you can manually configure
settings.
Setting Network Mode
Home screen

Perform operations listed below:
WCDMA only Use 3G network.
GSM only Use GSM network.
GSM/WCDMA Automatically switch to the available network.
Setting Network Operator to Connect

[Mobile networks]
After searching for available networks, a list of
operators is displayed in Available networks screen.
• To repeat network search, tap [Search
networks].
• If an error occurs in network search, unmark
[Data enabled] checkbox (Z P.131) and try
again.
Tap the operator you want to connect
• To automatically set an operator to connect, tap
[Select automatically].
