Storage Area of This Mobile Phone

Because you cannot insert and use a microSD card with this
mobile phone, two forms of storage area are provided:
internal storage and USB storage.
Internal storage is used for saving data such as applications
installed from the Android Market, contacts, and bookmarks.
USB storage is a storage area which is instead of a microSD
card. USB storage is used for saving data such as files
downloaded from websites (including applications
downloaded from sites other than the Android Market,
images, and documents), as well as for saving images that
have been shot with the camera.
Depending on the application, even if the application
indicates that data or files will be saved to a microSD card,
such data or files will be saved to USB storage.

Using microSD Card

By connecting the microSD card reader/writer cable
(sample), you can copy or move files between this mobile
phone and a microSD card, as well as back up data or files
saved on this mobile phone to a microSD card.
To copy or move data or files between this mobile phone and
a microSD card, insert a microSD card into the microSD card
reader/writer cable, and then connect the cable to this
mobile phone. For details on how to connect the microSD
card reader/writer cable, see the provided instruction
manual.
If you do not have a microSD card, you need to purchase it.
• When you connect the microSD card reader/writer cable,
enabling the use of microSD cards, you cannot use certain
features of the mobile phone, including incoming or outgoing
calls or data packet communications. (The mobile phone
switches to Airplane mode.)
Airplane mode is canceled automatically when the microSD
card reader/writer cable is removed or when it has been
connected for a long period of time (about 150 minutes).
• You cannot use the microSD card reader/writer cable when no
docomo mini UIM card is inserted. Usage is also not possible
outside of service areas or when using international roaming.
