Using Public Mode (Power OFF)
When the public mode (power OFF) is set and you receive a
call while the power is off or in Airplane mode, an answering
message is played telling the caller that you cannot answer
calls since you are in a place where you must turn off the
power (e.g. hospital, airplane, and near priority seats in a
train), and the call automatically ends.
• If the public mode (power OFF) and network service are set at
the same time, Voice Mail Service

is given priority over the public mode (power OFF).
* For calls with the ring time other than "0 seconds", the service
is activated after answering message of the public mode
(power OFF).

that says you are in a place where the power must be turned
off is played, and the call automatically ends.
The public mode (power OFF) answering message is played
also when the mobile phone is out of service area or where
radio waves cannot reach.
