128x48 pixel monochrome LCD display, programmable hard keys, and smaller desktop

light telephone use requirements. Featuring a true HD handset and speakerphone, the
6863i offers remarkable wideband audio quality. Dual 100 BaseT Ethernet ports with a
hardware-based Ethernet switch, advanced XML capabilities for configuration and

ABOUT THIS GUIDE

This guide explains how to use your new 6863i phone. Not all features listed are available by
default. Contact your System Administrator to find out which features and services are available
on your system. Your System Administrator also has the ability to customize some features on
this phone. For information on more advanced settings and configurations, administrators
should refer to the Mitel SIP IP Phones Administrator Guide.
