Printer Unit

Front cover
Be sure to close this when
you perform printing.
Maintenance cover
You remove this when you
perform cleaning of the
print heads.
Media discharge port
Stiff media is discharged
here.
Media guide
This prevents the end of the
media from striking the stays
or other areas, which can cause
the media to come loose.
Cartridge slots
There are where ink cartridges
are installed.
Main power switch
Power-cord connector
This supplies power to the
printer.
Ink cartridge cover
Be sure to close this
cover except when ab-
solutely necessary, such
as when you are replac-
ing ink cartridges.
Side cover
You remove this when you
perform maintenance.
Air-intake port
This is where air intake is performed to lessen the character-
istic odor of inks. A deodorizer must be provided separately.

Drain bottle
This collects drained
ink and other such
fluids.
Rear cover
Be sure to install
this when perform-
ing printing.
Loading lever
You operate this when you
load media.
Operation panel
You use this to perform
various operations.
