Tilt the wheelchair forward over the drive wheels, until the anti-tipper wheels prevent it from
tipping any farther. Use proper lifting techniques.
●
Swivel the wheels (5) so that they point upward.
●
Release the wheels, so that they can swing downwards.
●
Adjust the nut (2) using a 22 mm socket wrench so that the wheel forks are not too loose, but
can still rotate freely.
The wheels should swing up to the other side a maximum of one time, before coming to rest
pointed downward.
●
Place the wheelchair back on all of its wheels.
●
Test the maneuverability of the wheelchair.
●
Repeat the individual steps if necessary until the coasters are correctly adjusted.
●
Install the cover again.
