HVPS Board Removal
1. Unplug the power cord from the machine.
2. Remove the HVPS cover.
3. Disconnect CN1 from the HVPS board.
4. Disconnect the transfer assembly high voltage connector from
T1 on the HVPS board.
5. Disconnect the red transfer assembly wire at TRET on the
HVPS board.
6. Remove the four HVPS board mounting screws.
7. Remove the HVPS board.
HVPS Cover Removal
1. Unplug the power cord from the machine.
2. Remove the screw holding the HVPS cover to the main frame.
3. Insert a screwdriver in the HVPS cover slot and release the
cover latch.
4. Remove the HVPS cover.
Left Side Plate Removal
1. Unplug the power cord from the machine.
2. Remove the left, right, and front covers.
3. Remove the printhead assembly.
4. Remove the main drive motor.
5. Remove the four screws holding the left side plate to the main
frame.
6. Slide the left side plate toward the front of the machine and
remove.
Note: The main drive/paper feed gears are free to fall from their
mounting studs with the left side plate removed. Be careful not to
lose the gears.
