Release 2 latches, take off the CIS home
position sensor, release the harness from
harness clamp and disconnect 1 connector.

Take off the scanner top cover.

Remove 1 screw and take off the sensor with
the bracket.
(3)
Disconnect 1 harness clamp and 1 connec-
tor.
(4)
Release 2 latches and take off the platen
sensor.
