REAR SHOCK ABSORBER AND SWINGARM

CHECKING THE SWINGARM

1.Check:
Swingarm 1
G
Rear axle housing 2
G
Bends/cracks/damage → Replace.
2.Check:
Bushings 1
G
Wear/damage → Replace.

CHECKING THE RUBBER BOOT

1.Check:
Rubber boot 1
G
Damage → Replace.

INSTALLING THE RUBBER BOOT

1.Apply:
Adhesive (for rubber)
G
(to the engine 1)
2.Install:
Rubber boot 2
G
NOTE:
Be sure to position the rubber boot so that the
tang 3 faces towards the left.
