POWER SUPPLY UNIT
The universal auto-sensing power supply can be used world-
wide and supplies +5, -5, +12, -12 and +205 VDC to the
system.
The power supply unit is housed in the system unit and it
supplies the regulated power to:
1) System board
2) Memory board
3) 3.5-inch floppy disk drive
4) 3.5-inch hard disk drive
5) Plasma display
6) Option boards
7) Cooling fans
The above 2) through 4), 6) and one of cooling fans receive
the power via the system board.
The power supply unit includes an input line filter, line
fuse, cooling fan, power conversion circuitry and
connectors.
Input ratings are:
85 to 138 VAC or 170 to 276 VAC, less than 130 W (when input
rating is 115 VAC, 60 Hz) .
The power supply unit is shown in figure 1-8 and the output
ratings are specified in table 1-5.
