Necessary tools
• Philips screwdriver Ph2
• Torx screwdriver T20
• open ended nut spanner 13 mm with an insulated shaft
• tweezers
How to adjust the Scheimpflug?
1. Remove the following parts (see concerning chapters):
- rear cover
- top cover
- engine fan cover 1
2. Switch on the projector and project the internal Focus pattern in green
Tip: Toggle colors with the Enter-key on the RCU.
3. The projection lens must be in nominal position: no vertical, nor horizontal shift. See concerning chapter in this division.
4. Make sure that the projected image is perfectly rectangular, thus not showing keystone
5. Use the lens focus ring to get good focus in the center of the image
Note: The overall focus can also be adjusted through the OSD if a motorized lens is used.
6. If a corner of the image is out of focus, find out where the focus plane is located for this area of the image
Tip: A white sheet of paper can be held close the screen in the unfocused area. Move it towards the projector until the image
which is projected on the sheet is in focus. If no focus is found, the focus plane will be behind the screen.
7. Switch the projector to full white pattern
8. Release the nuts of the adjustment points that needs to be corrected
9. Insert and remove shims, according to what has been measured in step 6

10.Tighten the nuts
11. Repeat step 2 to step 10 until the image has a good overall focus
12.Install the following parts (see concerning chapters):
- engine fan cover 1
- top cover
- rear cover
