Description of the Scheimpflug adjustment
Scheimpflug principle
When the panel plane (plane where the image is created, such as DMD or LCoS panel) and lens plane (plane of the
principal lens of the projection lens) are parallel, the focus plane (plane where the full image is well focused) will be
parallel to these two planes. If, however, the lens plane is tilted with respect to the panel plane, the focus plane will
also be tilted according to geometrical and optical properties. The intersection of the panel plane, the lens plane and
the focus plane will be a line in this situation.
Introduction
If the DMD plane (A), the projection lens plane (B) and the screen plane (C) are parallel, the image projected on the screen will be
in focus (sharp image).

Scheimpflug: parallel planes
If the lens is slightly tilted, resulting in a tilted lens plane B', the focus plane C will tilt in such a way that the intersection of the panel
plane A, the tilted lens plane B' and the tilted focus plane C' is a single line.
