3.4.2.3 Integrating rod shift alignment
Necessary tools
• Philips screwdriver Ph2
• Torx screwdriver T20
• open ended nutspanner 7 mm
How to align the shift of the integrating rod?
1. Remove the following parts (see concerning chapters):
- rear cover
- top cover
- engine fan cover 1
2. Shift the projection lens to its nominal position (= on axis projection)
3. Project the full white internal pattern
4. Release both screws A and B of the integrating rod a quarter turn

5. Lift screw A on the integrating rod a few millimeter until dark corners appear on the image

6. Use nut C and handle D on the integrating rod to shift it backward and forward until the dark corners have a sharp edge
