It is not necessary to reset the counter start value. The counter keeps
track of the last number issued as long as the power remains switched
on and the counter is updated according to instructions in the form.

Once a form has been retrieved, you can use it over and over again
until you retrieve another form. All variable input data and counter
values are stored in the volatile memory, which means it is lost when
the printer loses power. If prompts are enabled, existing data and
counter values are displayed on the screen after the related prompt.
Any input data can be overwritten at will.
