Variable reference number (00-99).

A maximum total of 1500 bytes of data for all
variables is allowed.

Field justification:

L = Left justification.
R = Right justification.
C = Center justification.
N = No justification.

A single leading minus sign in the prompt field
causes the prompt to be sent one time only after the
form is retrieved (Keyboard Display Unit only).

A double leading minus sign in the prompt field
caused the prompt to be suppressed (Keyboard
Display Unit only).
"PROMPT" An ASCII text field transmitted to the host or
Keyboard Display Unit via the serial interface each
time this command is executed. This prompt
requests the operator to enter the value for the
variable. Length limited to 32 characters.
