Directory
Directory
To dial, delete or edit a directory entry (name and number), the entry must be
displayed on the screen. Use Review directory entries (page 20) or Search by
name (page 21) to show an entry.

Display dial

To dial a displayed number from the directory, lift the handset or press
SPEAKER
SPEAKER on the telephone.

Delete a directory entry

To delete the displayed directory entry, press DELETE X. The screen displays
Delete contact? Press
show Deleted with a confirmation tone. You cannot retrieve a deleted entry.

Edit a directory entry

1.
When a directory entry displays, press
Enter number along with the phone number to be edited. If you only want
to edit the name, skip to Step 3.

To edit the number:
Press the dialing keys to add digits.
Press
CALL LOG
Press DELETE X to erase a digit.
Press
REDIAL
/SELECT to move on to the name. The screen shows

MENU
Enter name along with the name to be edited.

To edit the name:
Press the dialing keys to add characters (page 19).
Press
CALL LOG
Press DELETE X to erase a character.

Press
/SELECT to save the entry. There is a confirmation tone and the

screen shows Saved.
/SELECT or DELETE X to confirm. The screen

/PAUSE to add a three-second dialing pause (a P appears).

to move the cursor to the left or right.
