Dial, delete or edit directory entries

To dial, delete or edit a directory entry (name and number), the entry must
be displayed on the screen. Use Review the directory (page 57) or
�earch by name (page 58) to show an entry.

Display dial

To dial a displayed number from the directory:
Press �HONE/
-OR-
On the telephone base, lift the corded handset or press

Delete a directory entry

Using a cordless handset:
To delete the displayed directory entry, press
The screen displays Delete contact?. Press
confirm. There is a confirmation tone and the screen displays
Contact deleted. You cannot retrieve a deleted entry.
Using the telephone base:
To delete the displayed directory entry, press X/DELETE.
The screen displays Delete contact?. Press
to confirm. There is a confirmation tone and the screen
displays Contact deleted. You cannot retrieve a
deleted entry.
