Adjust the primary CO
regulator by turning the regulator adjusting screw to the right (clockwise) until the
2
regulator pressure reads 80 to 100 psig.
Product Blender Tanks Secondary CO
1. Remove the Unit lower front stainless steel access panel as instructed for access to the product blender
tanks secondary CO
2. Adjust the product blender tanks secondary CO
adjusting screws to the right (clockwise) until their gages read 25 to 30-psig.
3. Install the lower front stainless steel access panel by reversing the removal procedure.
Carbonator(s) Secondary CO
1. Remove the Unit lower front access panel as instructed for access to the carbonator(s) secondary CO
regulator(s).
2. Adjust carbonator(s) secondary CO
screw(s) to the right (clockwise) until gage(s) reads 50 to 60-psig.
3. Install the lower front access panel by reversing the removal procedure.
IMPORTANT: Carbonator(s) tank(s) secondary CO
above the product blender tanks secondary CO
and syrup pressures must be able to overcome and vent the product blender tanks head pressures
while the tanks are filling with carbonated water and syrup. Carbonator(s) tank(s) secondary CO
regulator(s) not adjusted high enough will cause a decreased flow of carbonated water into the
blender tanks which will increase brix of the dispensed product.
ADJUSTING WATER-COOLED REFRIGERATION SYSTEM VARIABLE WATER
REGULATOR
IMPORTANT: Water flow rate through the refrigeration cooling coil varies due to pressure change on
the high side of the refrigeration compressor which influences opening and closing of the variable
water regulator (see Figure 17). The variable water regulator must be adjusted to maintain a 200-psi
refrigeration system high-side pressure. Adjust the variable water regulator as follows:
1. Press "OFF 1" and "OFF 2" control switches to stop the refrigeration system and beater motors.
2. Remove side panels from the Unit as instructed.
3. Connect gauges to the high-pressure side of the refrigeration system.
4. Press "AUTO 1" and "AUTO 2" control switches to start the refrigeration system and beater motors.
5. Operate the refrigeration system with the gauges installed. After approximately five minutes of operation,
adjust the refrigeration cooling coil variable water regulator (see Figure 17) to maintain a 200-psi
refrigeration system high-side pressure. Adjustment screw is located on the end of the coil assembly and
must be turned to the right (clockwise) to decrease pressure or to the left (counterclockwise) to increase
pressure.
6. After pressure adjustment has been completed, press "OFF 1" and "OFF 2" control switches to stop the
refrigeration system and beater motors.
7. Install the side panels on the Unit by reversing removal procedures.
