Initializing the Automatic Document Feeder

If the document cannot be correctly fed into the automatic document feeder, follow
the procedure below to initialize the ADF.

Open all three one-touch speed dialing panels.
Press [Data Registration].
Press [M] or [L] until <7.ADJUST/CLEAN> appears © press
[Set].
Press [M] or [L] until <2.INITIALIZING ADF> appears © press
[Set].
The pick up roller inside the ADF is reset to its initial position.
Press [Stop] to return to the Standby mode.
