SECTION 11—OPTIONS
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely. Otherwise injury or damage may occur.

Installing/Cleaning Telescoping I.V. Rod/O
NOTE:!For!this!procedure,!refer!to!FIGURE 11.1!on!page!68.

Installing

The telescoping I.V. rod/O
secured to the wheelchair frame. If there is any looseness whatsoever, tighten the
attachment hardware securely before using.
TELESCOPING I.V. ROD HOLDER ONLY - Make sure the telescoping I.V. rod is
tightly locked before placing I.V. medication on the rod.
The telescoping I.V. rod is designed to support I.V. medication only. DO NOT use it
to support objects other than I.V. medication.
1. Slide!telescoping!I.V.!rod/O
NOTE:!Mounting!bracket!of!telescoping!I.V.!rod/O
axle!mounting!positions!on!wheelchair!frame.
2. Secure!telescoping!I.V.!rod/O
and!locknut.
3. Telescoping!I.V.!Rod!Holder!Only!#!Secure!the!top!of!the!telescoping!I.V.!rod!holder!to!
the!wheelchair!frame!with!a!tie!wrap.
