K Check!headtube!locknuts!for!tightness.
K Inspect!casters!for!cracks!and!wear.

K Clean!upholstery!and!armrests.

Inspect/Adjust Weekly

K Ensure!that!the!wheel!locks!prevent!the!wheelchair!from!moving!when!engaged.
K Inspect!tires!for!flat!spots!and!wear.
K Check!pneumatic!tires!for!proper!inflation.
K If!equipped,!check!that!quick#release!axles!lock!properly.!Lubricate!if!necessary.
K Inspect!rear!wheels!for!cracked,!bent!or!broken!spokes.
K Ensure!all!spokes!are!uniformly!tight.
K Inspect!axle!assembly!for!proper!tension!by!spinning!caster.!Caster!should!come!to!a!

Inspect/Adjust Monthly

K Ensure!that!the!wheelchair!rolls!straight!(no!excessive!drag!or!pull!to!one!side).
K Check!that!the!wheel!locks!DO!NOT!interfere!with!tires!when!rolling.
K Check!that!the!wheel!lock!pivot!points!are!free!of!wear!and!looseness.
K Inspect!seat!and!back!for!loose!or!broken!hardware.
K Inspect!seat!positioning!strap!for!any!signs!of!wear.!Ensure!buckle!latches.!Verify!
hardware!that!attaches!strap!to!frame!is!secure!and!undamaged.!Replace!if!necessary.
K Inspect!back!cane!hand!grips!for!wear/looseness/deterioration.
K Adjust!front!casters/forks!bearing!system!if!wheel!wobbles!noticeably!or!binds!to!a!
stop.
K Ensure!wheel!bearings!are!clean!and!free!of!moisture.
