Confirm the followings in the list of
[Printers].
– When you install PCL driver:
[KONICA MINOLTA 1050 PCL] is
highlighted.
– When you install PPD driver:
[KONICA MINOLTA 1050 PS(P)]
is highlighted.
– [KONICA MINOLTA 1050 PCL]/
[KONICA MINOLTA 1050 PS(P)]
is the default printer name.

Click [Next].
The window to set the default printer will appear.

Select whether to use this printer as the default printer or not by select-
ing [Yes] or [No].

Click [Next].
The [Add Printer Wizard] completion window appears.

Click [Finish].
The installation is completed.
The printer driver of the printing sys-
tem becomes available without re-
starting your computer.
Note
You must delete the current printer driver at first if you want to update/
reinstall the printer driver.
Refer to "Deleting the Printer Driver (Windows XP/Server 2003)(PCL/
PPD)" on Page 6-7 for the method of deleting the printer driver.
