Character Selection

Use Kana and Pager (see P.3-9) to enter alphanumerics,

Symbols, hiragana, kanji, katakana and Pictograms.
Unless otherwise noted, text entry operations are described
for use in text entry windows using Kana Mode.
C In a text entry window, press N x
Press b

Entry Modes

Follow these steps to change character entry mode.

Use E to select a mode and

mode remains unchanged.)

C In double or single-byte alphanumerics mode, press k to
toggle between upper/lower case and lower case modes.

^ Handset Character Codes correspond to 6,355 kanji.
Tip
^ Some characters are not available for mail addresses,
etc.
