Adjusting Parameters
Customise parameters by Standard, Dynamic or Movie.
Adjust Backlight Brightness (5 levels).
Brightness
Turn Light Sensor on/off at levels 2 to 5.
Contrast Adjust Display Contrast (5 levels)
Blackness Adjust Display Brightness (5 levels)
Colour Adjust colour density (6 levels: 0 to 5)
Tint Adjust skin colour tone (9 levels: -4 to +4)
Sharpness Select Soft, Normal or Hard
Sound Select from ten sound options
Default Settings:
Standard
Level 2
Brightness
(Sensor: On)
Contrast Level 3
Blackness Level 2
Colour Level 0
Tint Level 0
Sharpness Normal
Sound Normal
Follow these steps after Step 2 above.

1 Select Brightness, Contrast, Blackness,
Colour or Tint and press b
2 Use E to adjust level and press b
^ For Brightness, then press N @ to turn Light
Sensor on/off.
Adjusting Sharpness
1 Select Sharpness and press b
2 Select Soft, Normal or Hard and press b
^ When Screen Size (Landscape) (see P.6-24) is
Original Size, Sharpness Normal applies even if Soft
is set. Changes may not be apparent in some images.
Adjusting Sound
1 Select Sound and press b
2 Select Normal, News, Sports, Drama,
Variety, Music, Movie, BASS, Surround or
Surround Bass and press b
Resetting
1 Select Reset and press b
2 Choose Yes and press b
^ All parameters return to their defaults.
