OpTIONAL DECORATIvE GLASS pLACEMENT

Failure to position the parts in accordance with the dia-
grams and instructions below or failure to use only parts
specifically approved for use with this heater may result in
property damage or personal injury.
NOTE: The DLCX36Sp Fireplace may be operated with or
without the Decorative glass accessory options. Fol-
low the directions below should you choose to en-
hance your Loft Fireplace with any one of the avail-
able decorative glass options.
DECORATIvE GLASS ACCESSORY pLACEMENT
The Decorative Glass options are available in various colors.
Choose the proper size kit for use with your particular Loft Fire-
place. See Page 48.
CAUTION: Use of gloves and eye protection is required while
applying the decorative glass.
INSTALLATION
1. Application of the Decorative Glass should only be performed
after the Fireplace has been fully installed, secured and tested
for leaks. If operating the burner with a Remote Control, make
sure all batteries are installed and that the burner operates
with the remote correctly.
GLASS MUST NOT BE PLACED ON TOP OF OR
NEXT TO BURNER. GLASS TO BE PLACED ONLY
TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE FLANGED OPENING.

2. To install the Decorative Glass, cut off a corner of the plas-
tic bag to apply the glass to the top shelf on the Loft burner
cover. See Figure 50. Apply only enough glass to cover the
black metal surfaces. Do not allow the glass to fall around the
burner tube. See Figure 51. Apply the remaining decorative
glass to the front sloped surfaces of the Top Cover. Start by
placing the glass along the front edges of the top cover, then
gradually add the glass up the sloped areas until completely
covered. Do not allow the glass to fall around the burner tube.

CAUTION: Glass must not be placed on the burner.
