OPTIONAL DECORATIvE GLASS PLACEMENT

Failure to position the parts in accordance with the diagrams
and instructions below or failure to use only parts specifically
approved for use with this heater may result in property
damage or personal injury.
NOTE: The DvL Fireplace may be operated with or without
the Decorative glass accessory options. Follow the directions
below should you choose to enhance your Loft Fireplace with
any one of the available decorative glass options.
DECORATIvE GLASS ACCESSORY PLACEMENT
The Decorative Glass options are available in various colors and
package sizes. Choose the proper size kit for use with your par-
ticular Loft Fireplace. See page 38.
Use of gloves and eye protection is required while applying
the decorative glass.
INSTALLATION
1.
Application of the Decorative Glass should only be performed
after the DVL Fireplace has been fully installed, secured
and tested for leaks. If operating the burner with a Remote
Control, make sure all batteries are installed and that the
burner operates with the remote correctly.
GLASS MUST NOT BE PLACED ON TOP OF OR
NEXT TO BURNER. GLASS TO BE PLACED ONLY
TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE FLANGED OPENING.

To install the Decorative Glass, cut off a corner of the plastic
bag and proceed to apply the glass to the rear shelf on the
Loft burner cover (area behind the burner). See Figure 45.
Apply only enough glass to cover the black metal surfaces.
Do not allow the glass to fall around the burner tube. See
Figure 46. Apply the remaining decorative glass to the front
sloped surface of the Top Cover. Start by placing the glass
along the front edge of the top cover, then gradually place the
glass up the sloped top cover until completely covered. Do not
allow the glass to fall around the burner tube. See Figure 47.
Glass must not be placed on the burner.
