    FIREpLACE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Fireplace Framing Framing can be built before or after the fireplace is set in place. Framing should be constructed to accommodate wall covering and fireplace facing material. The framing header should be installed on edge to provide required airspace clearance to venting. The framing headers may rest on the top standoff spacers.
