#1 : Yamaha chain and cable lube or SAE10W30 motor oil.
#2 : Molybdenum disulfide grease.
#3 : lithium soap base grease.
#4: SAE80 API nGL-4" hypoid gear oil.
NOTE: _
• The air filter needs more frequent service if you are riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
• For odometer readings or time periods higher than

repeat the same maintenance as listed in the table from the 7,000 km (4,400 mi) or 7
months every 6,000 km (3,800 mil or 6 month interval.
• Brake fluid replacement:
1.When disassembling the master cylinder or caliper cylinder, replace the brake fluid. Nor-
mally check the brake fluid level and add fluid as required.
2.0n the inner parts of the master cylinder and caliper cylinder, replace the oil seals every
two years.
3.Replace the brake hoses every four years, or if cracked or damaged.
• Engine oil type:
Yamalube 4 (20W40) or SAE 20W40 type LISE" motor oil for temperatures 5°C (40°F) or above.
Yamalube 4 (10W30) or SAE 10W30 type liSE" motor oil for temperatures 15°C (60"F) or
below.
