7-5. FUEL

Always use clean high quality unleaded gasoline. (Octane 95 above is recommended)

POTENTIAL HAZARD
Over filling the fuel tank.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Fuel expands due to heat (e.g., engine, sun) and may overflow if the tank is overfilled, resulting in a
fire.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Stop adding fuel when the correct level is reached.
CAUTION
If engine "knocking" or pinging occurs, use a different brand of gasoline or a higher octane rating.
Never experiment. Other fuels or additives can severely damage the engine and its supporting
components (e.g. fuel system, sensors, tank, hoses, etc...)
