the clearances listed below are Minimum distances unless otherwise stated:
a major cause of fires is failure to maintain required clearances (air space) to combustible materials. it is of the greatest importance that this
decorative gas appliance be installed only in accordance with these instructions.

Min. Hearth requirements - 1" Mightylite® board plus 3/8" layer of tile or equivalent non-combustible
material.
If unit is raised 6" from the floor - no hearth is required.
*An optional 3-1/2" mantel deflector, reduces the mantel height to 36" from bottom of unit @
1"depth.
