• Lift rear access panel up to allow clearance
for the removal of the front panel.
• Lift front access panel, while pushing back
gently and remove.
5. Remove front access panel.
6. Release the spring clip on the air filter housing
end cap to remove air filter.
7. Replace the air filter.
8. Secure the air filter housing end cap.
9. Reverse steps to reassemble generator access
panels.
Checking Engine Oil Level
(42AD models only)
NOTE: It is recommended that the engine oil
level be checked daily to ensure top
performance and long genset life.
Accessing the Engine Oil Dipstick
1. Remove side access panel (located on the
right side of the generator) by releasing the
latch (as shown in the following photo).
NOTE: Once the latch has been released, you
must close the latch again to allow the
side access panel to be removed
completely.
