Chatting to buddies
You want to 'chat' to a buddy, i.e. send a
message.
Precondition: you have opened the
buddy list (page 51) and selected a buddy
with q.

The buddy list is shown again.
Receiving messages
Precondition: you are online.
Newly arrived buddy or info messages
(page 53) are indicated by a flashing mes-
sage key f and a beep, even if you are
in a messenger menu or text editor. The
symbol À is displayed when the handset
is in idle status.
The messages are stored in the
message list.
Note:
The list messenger is only displayed if you are
online.

The messages on the list are sorted chron-
ologically, with the oldest message at the
head of the list.

If the memory is full and new messages
arrive, the oldest message(s) will be over-
written. If there are not old (read) mes-
sages, the oldest (unread) messages will
be overwritten.
