Pipe Shield
The pipe shield is shipped with the fireplace loose. It is only required for minimum vent configurations (12" rise –
see page 23). Attach the pipe shield as shown below.

Installation
(for qualified installers only)
The pipe shield rests on the
drywall support crossbeam.
Secure the back of the pipe shield to the
firestop/framing to the rear of the fireplace.
