Removing the sprocket

– Use holding wrench 510.12.012.000 to hold the sprocket
you remove the screw
– Remove the sprocket, distance bushing and O-ring.

Removing the ignition cover

– Remove the 7 screws on the ignition cover and take off the ignition
cover

– Remove the ignition cover gasket.
– Do not lose the needle rollers

Removing the starter drive

– Remove the torque limiter
– Remove the starter idler gear

Removing the pulse generator

– Remove the screw
– Pull the cable support sleeve
the cable.

– Remove both screws
– Remove the pulse generator including the holder.
with the spring washer.

and take off the retaining bracket.

out of the engine case and unthread
