Configuring a SIP Proxy Server

To configure SIP proxy and registration parameters:
Log in to the web administration interface.
Click Admin Login and advanced.
Click the Extension <number> tab.
Configure the proxy and registration parameters for each extension.
Description
When enabled, authorization is required for initial incoming
INVITE requests from the SIP proxy.
NOTE
Not applicable to the WIP310.
If set to yes, as a transferee, the phone will send a NOTIFY with
Event:Refer to the transferor for any 1xx response returned by
the transfer target, on the transfer call leg.
If set to no, the phone will only send a NOTIFY for final
responses (200 and higher).
NOTE
Not applicable to the WIP310.
This parameter applies only if <SIP Remote-Party-ID> is set to
yes; otherwise, it is ignored.
If the parameter is set to yes, the FROM header's display-name
and user-id fields are set to anonymous when the caller blocks
his caller-id. If the parameter is set to no, the FROM header's
display-name and user-id are not masked. The Remote-Party-
ID header indicates privacy=full when the caller wishes to
block his caller-id.
Default: yes.
NOTE
Not applicable to the WIP310.
Configure G.729 Annex B settings.
NOTE
Not applicable to the SPA525G.
