ELECTRICAL SWITCH INSPECTION
"0" SWITCH INSPECTION
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ,,,,
Flasher relay _ Battery Use a pocket tester to check the terminals for
Wire harness _ Fuel sender continuity. If the continuity is faulty as any point,
Oil sender _ Horn replace the switch.

NOTE:
• Set the pocket tester to"0" before starting the
test.
% • The pocket tester should be set to the"x I"Q
range when testing the switch for continuity.
• Turn the switch on and off a few times when
checking it.

the one on the left.
This chart shows the switch positions in the
column and the switch lead colors inthe top row.
(____ For each switch position, "0--0" indicates the
terminals with continuity.
(_ The example chart shows that:
(_ There is continuity between the "black and
Black/White" leads when the switch is set to
"OFF".
(_ There is continuity between the "Red and
_ Brown" leads when the switch is set to "ON".
