9. Clamp:
• Steering shaft
• Speedometer cable
• Upper bearing race (Top) (D
° Front brake cable
• Bearing race cover (_)
(to head pipe with the band)
° Washer
NOTE:
• Ring nut
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER 2.
NOTE:
Hold the steering column until it is secured.
10. Apply:
• Lithium soap base grease
4. Tighten:
(to throttle cable end and handlebar right
• Ring nut
end).
11. Install:
NOTE:
oThrottle grip
Refer to "STEARING HEAD ADJUSTMENT" in
• Throttle cable
CHAPTER 3.
• Bracket
• Front brake lever assembly
• Handlebar switch (right)
NOTE:
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER 2.

- Bolt (_) (New)
• Rear brake cable
° Nut (_) (New)
° Handlebar switch leads
NOTE:
• Brake switch lead
• Fit the handlebar bridge (_) into the steering
column n otcher (_).
13. I nstall:
• Front fender
NOTE:
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER 2 for

proper cable and lead routing.
Refer to "COVERS" in CHAPTER 3.

• Front brake free play
• Before installing the handlebar, wipe the oil
• Rear brake lever free play
off the insertion portion using thinner, etc.
• Throttle free play
• Install the bolt (_)from the left as shown.

Handlebar Bolt O:
60 Nm (6.0 m.kg, 43.4 ft.lb)
10 ~ 20 mm (0.4 ~ 0.8 in)
Rear Brake
Free Play:
10 ~ 20 mm (0.4 ~ 0.8 in)
8. Install:
Throttle Cable Free Play:
° Band
1.5 ~ 3.0 mm (0.06 ~ 0.12 in)
NOTE:
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER 2.
NOTE:
Refer to "FRONT BRAKE ADJ USTMENT-REAR
