FRONT AND REAR BRAKES

DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT BRAKE
MASTER CYLINDER
NOTE:
Before disassembling the front brake master
cylinder, drain the brake fluid from the entire
brake system.
1. Disconnect:
brake light switch connector 1
(from the brake light switch)
2. Remove:
S union bolt 2
S copper washers 3
S brake hoses 4
NOTE:
To collect any remaining brake fluid, place a
container under the master cylinder and the end
of the brake hose.
3. Remove:
S brake master cylinder bracket
S brake master cylinder assembly
4. Remove:
S dust boot
S circlip

DISASSEMBLING THE REAR BRAKE
MASTER CYLINDER
1. Remove:
S union bolt 1
S copper washers 2
S brake hose 3
NOTE:
To collect any remaining brake fluid, place a
container under the master cylinder and the end
of the brake hose.
2. Remove:
S brake master cylinder assembly
3. Remove:
S dust boot
S circlip
