(1) Tachometer
This meter indicates the current engine speed in
-1
increments of 100 min
(rpm).
(2) Fuel gauge
This gauge indicates level of fuel in the fuel tank,
while the starter key switch is in the ON position.
(3) Hour meter
This meter indicates the total accumulated operating
hours. This indication is based on the assumption
that the engine runs at a speed of 3300 min
(4) Alternator/battery charging light
This light remains lit when the starter key switch is in
the ON position and the engine is OFF.
IMPORTANT
●If this light illuminates while the engine is running,
the power generated by the alternator is too low.
Fully pull the throttle control lever backward and
increase the engine speed. If the light still remains
lit, immediately stop the engine and contact your
local Cub Cadet Yanmar dealer for technical
assistance.
(5) Engine oil pressure warning light
This light remains lit when the starter key switch is in
the ON position and the engine is OFF.
IMPORTANT
●If this light illuminates while the engine is running,
the engine oil pressure is too low. Immediately stop
the engine and contact your local Cub Cadet
Yanmar dealer for technical assistance.

(6) Preheater pilot light
This light illuminates when the engine starter key
switch is turned to the preheating position.
Preheating time should be determined according to
outside air temperature. For details, see the table
below.

(7) Engine coolant warning light
This light illuminates when engine coolant
temperature becomes abnormally high.
IMPORTANT
●If the engine coolant warning light does turn on,
reduce the load on the tractor immediately, run the
engine at an idle until the light turns off, and shut
off the engine. Wait until the engine has cooled off
completely, and check to see that there is:
(1) Sufficient coolant in the radiator and reserve
tank
(2) No clogging of the radiator fins and screen
(3) Sufficient tension in the fan belt

information on maintenance procedures.
●If the coolant warning light turns on again even
after being sure of the checkpoints above, shut off
the engine immediately and contact your local Cub
Cadet Yanmar dealer.
