17. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
Improperly adjusted brake pedal play.
Worn or damaged brake linkage.
Excessively worn brake disk.
Deteriorated transmission/hydraulic oil. • Replace the transmission/hydraulic oil.
Degraded quality of transmission/
hydraulic oil.
Cause
Uneven tire pressure.
Insufficient transmission/hydraulic oil,
deteriorated transmission/hydraulic oil
or clogged transmission/hydraulic oil
filter.
Transmission/hydraulic oil is too cold.
Insufficient lubrication of the steering
linkage.
Steering play is too great.
Bent front axle.
Remedy
• Properly adjust the brake pedal play.
• Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
• Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
• Replace the transmission/hydraulic oil.
Remedy
• Adjust the tire pressure to the correct
level.
• Check the amount and quality of the oil.
Replace deteriorated oil. Refill as
necessary. Check the filter for clogging,
and replace the clogged filter with a good
one.
• Start the engine, and warm up the
transmission/hydraulic oil.
• Lubricate steering linkage.
• Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
