Important:
R Remove the recording paper, then remove the
paper tray beforehand, otherwise the paper may
misfeed or jam.

Disconnect the mains lead and the telephone line
cord.

Open the front cover (A), push the green button
(B), then open the back cover (C).

Remove the ink film (D).

Clean the thermal head (E) with a cloth moistened
with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and let it dry
thoroughly.
Caution:
R To prevent a malfunction due to static
electricity, do not use a dry cloth and do not
touch the thermal head directly.

Re-install the ink film and close the covers (see step
B
4 to 7 on page 15).

Install the paper tray (page 17), then insert the
recording paper gently (page 17).

Connect the mains lead and the telephone line cord.
