The Port Summary tab

Select a port (GigabitEthernet 1/0/16 for example) on the chassis front panel. If aggregate interfaces are
configured on the device, the page displays a list of aggregate interfaces below the chassis front panel, and
you can select aggregate interfaces from this list. The lower part of the page displays the MSTP information
of the port in MSTI 0 (when STP is enabled globally) or the STP status and statistics (when STP is disabled
globally), the MSTI to which the port belongs, and the path cost and priority of the port in the MSTI.

Description
The port is in forwarding state. The port learns MAC addresses and
forwards user traffic.
The port is in learning state. The port learns MAC addresses but does not
forward user traffic.
The port is in discarding state. The port does not learn MAC addresses or
forward user traffic.
The port is down.
Whether or not STP is enabled on the port.
The role of the port, which can be Alternate, Backup, Root, Designated,
Master, or Disabled.
The priority of the port.
