Setup Router. Most of the settings for the router are
identical, here are some the suggestions:
Specify DYNDNS service provider: DnyDNS.org (dynamic)
Specify DYNDNS IP by DYNDNS account (user name / password )
Specify DVR IP as private IP setting
Specify the streaming port. The default value is 8000.

Setup the DynDNS Settings to the DVR

After completing the DynDNS account application and your router is also done with
the DynDNS setup, the next and final step is to setup your DVR to accept your
DynDNS hostname. To do this, go to the DVR's main menu screen, go to
"Hardware Setup", go to "Network Setup", and then go to "Server Setup". The
Server Setup screen is shown below, follow these steps:
 Default DNS Address – leave it as it is or check your ISP
 Custom DNS Address – leave it as it is or check your ISP
 Dynamic DNS
o Activate Service – Change to
o Provider –
o Server Name – This is what you have created when signing up to
o Account – This is the "username" you created when signing up,
o Password – Enter your password for your DynDNS account.
