7-58 Installation Problems
Make sure that [Canon LBP5300] is not displayed in the [Add
or Remove Programs] dialog box, and then click [
For Windows 98/Me: Make sure that [Canon LBP5300] is not displayed in the
[Add/Remove Programs Properties] dialog box, and then click [
For Windows 2000: Make sure that [Canon LBP5300] is not displayed in the
[Add/Remove Programs] dialog box, and then click [
For Windows Vista: Make sure that [Canon LBP5300] is not displayed in the
[Programs and Features] dialog box, and then click [
NOTE
If [Canon LBP5300] is displayed in the dialog box, see "When Uninstallation Fails"
(p. 7-55) and delete [Canon LBP5300] in the dialog box.
From the [Start] menu, select [Control Panel], and then click
[Performance and Maintenance] ➞ [System].
For Windows 98/Me/2000: From the [Start] menu, select [Settings] ➞ [Control
Panel], and then double-click the [System] icon.
For Windows Server 2003: From the [Start] menu, select [Control Panel] ➞
[System].
For Windows Vista: From the [Start] menu, select [Control Panel], and then click
[Hardware and Sound] ➞ [View hardware and devices].
NOTE
If you are using Windows Vista and the [User Account Control] dialog box appears,
click [Continue].
