The Basics
Soft Key Function
"Soft" keys are keys that change functions while you operate
your phone. There are three on the base and each cordless
handset. Soft keys allow you to:
Access the main menu
Set up CIDCW options
Store or edit phone numbers
Access stored Caller ID information
Redial one of the last three numbers dialed from the base
The icon that appears directly above each soft key determines
the function shown.
For example, when the phone is in standby mode, pressing soft
key 1 activates Line 1. During a call, pressing soft key 1 mutes the
microphone.
Complete information on the features controlled by the soft keys
can be found under each feature.
