Remedy
Position the subject in the AF area on the
monitor. If the subject is outside the AF
area, aim the camera at the subject and
lock the focus, then compose a picture
and press the shutter release button fully.

AE Lock is not available in p mode.
Set the flash mode to E (Manual Flash
Discharge) or F (Manual Flash+Red-
