VFO mode is used to set the desired frequency.

What is VFO?
VFO is an abbreviation of Variable Frequency Oscillator. Fre-
quencies for both transmitting and receiving are generated
and controlled by the VFO.
Set the attenuator function ON (☞p. 22) if the received
signal is blocked by other radio station when using a third
party high-gain antenna.

which store programmed frequencies.
q Push [MR] to select memory mode.
